Abstract

480,880. Spectacle cases. RAPHAEL, O. P. Oct. 12, 1936, No. 27588. [Class 18] [Also in Group XX] In order to prevent fraying of the lining, a spectacle case is first provided with its outer covering which is turned over the edge of the lid and secured to the inside by ironing between press tools. The lining, after being treated with adhesive, is then positioned in the case, the lid with the lining uppermost is placed in a heated securing tool and the edge of the lining is pressed flat by a pressing tool which at the same time seals the lining to the outer covering material.
