Drawings to Specification. [Class 135] In a self-closing stop-valve of the kind in which the valve is closed by a piston in a cylinder on release of pressure from one end by a control valve, for instance as described in Specification 480,700, the piston is cushioned at the end of its valve-closing movement by a spigot extension which co-operates with a socket portion on the end of the cylinder, finally making a sealing contact.
