480,571. Cheese cutters. PETTERSSON, C. E. June 11, 1937, No. 16226. [Class 87 (ii)] In a cheese cutter comprising a U -shaped stirrup 3 having a handle 1 and a cutting wire 5 tensioned between the ends 4 of the limbs 2 of the stirrup, one or both ends 4 are conically pointed. The pointed limb is pressed into the cheese which is cut vertically to a required depth, the cutter is rotated about the pointed limb so as to cut the cheese horizontally and is finally withdrawn so as to cut out a sector of the cheese.
