478,433. Sewing-machines. SEGELIN, D., and SEGELIN, S. July 18, 1936, No. 19985. Convention date, July 19, 1935. [Class 112] A permanent crease is formed in a garment by sewing one side of a tape 1 to one side and parallel to the line of the crease and then depressing the garment below the central portion of the tape by means of a wire 2 while sewing the other side of the tape to the garment. The sewing may be done in a blind stitching machine in which the work bender 4 raises the garment against the tape during the stitching.
