Abstract
476,595. Toe pads. WIBERG, H. G. June 12, 1936, Nos. 16465/36 and 16148/37. [Class 81 (ii)] A toe pad comprises a pair of cushioning elements a, b, one or both of which are of resilient material, the pads being superposed and securing between them, as by an adhesive such as zinc oxide, an elastic loop, c, or the ends of an elastic strip for retaining the pad on the toe. The elements a, b, may be of sponge rubber and velvet respectively, or both of sponge rubber in which case they may be secured to an intermediate strip of linen or rubber or such a strip may be secured to each pad before being caused to adhere together. The pads may be curved longitudinally to fit the toe and the rear faces thereof may be concave.
