475,902. Electrodeposition of chromium. TRIST, A. R. May 29, 1936, No. 15223. [Class 41] [Also in Group XVI] A plate for the preparation of a lithographic printing surface is provided with a mat coating of crystalline chromium by treatment in an electrolysic bath comprising about 60 per cent of chromic acid, and 0À6 per cent of sulphuric acid at a temperature of from 5- 7‹ C. using a current density of about 250- 350 amperes per square foot at a potential of about 9 volts.
