[Class 66] The joint between the body and the flanged lid of a tin box or like container is sealed by a soldered on metal strip 3 provided with projections 7 adapted to engage in a channel 8 formed in the lower of the stepped recesses 5, 6, and serving to position the strip. The ends of the strip are overlapped, the free end being formed as a tag for engagement by the fingers or by a key &c.
