475,465. Photo electric exposure meters. COUYOUMDJIAN, A. O. March 1, 1937, No. 6040. Convention date, Feb. 28, 1936. [Class 40 (iii)] [Also in Group XX] In a photographic camera with photo-electric exposure meter with variable resistances coupled to the diaphragm and shutter speed adjustments, one of these resistances is connected in parallel with the measuring instrument. As shown, the diaphragm of the lens 1 is regulated by the lever 2 which also adjusts the variable resistance 3 decreasing with increasing aperture. The shutter speed knob 9 controls also the variable resistance 8, increasing with increasing exposure time, connected in parallel with the measuring instrument 12. The circuit also includes the fixed resistance 7 and the photocell 4.
