Abstract

475,115. Wrenches. HAGBO, L. E. May 13, 1936, No. 13573. [Class 61 (iii)] In a wrench of the kind having an adjustable jaw sliding in a head pivoted to the handle carrying the fixed jaw, the slidable jaw 4 is freely adjustable in the head 5 against the pressure of a spring 12 and is secured by a nut 11 on a rod 8 secured to the jaw 4. The head is resiliently held in either of its limiting pivotal positions by means of a spring 15<1> in a recess 14<1> coacting with a cross pin engaging in a slot 13 in the handle 1.
