[Class 38 (ii)] In moving contact rectifiers wherein saturable choking coils are connected in series for limiting the current, the number of these is equal to the number of phases simultaneously carrying current during the contacting periods, and these are connected to the required phases in sequence. The contact apparatus may comprise two groups of contacts, one for the cyclic switching and the other performing circuit making and interruption.
