473,831. Filtering gases. YUILLE, J. May 22, 1937, No. 14284. [Class 8 (ii)] [Also in Group XII] Gases are cleansed by passage through a succession of spaced screens of metal wool of increasing fineness, the coarsest screen being constituted wholly or in part of aluminium wool, which acts as a drier. The screens may be sprayed with water or a solvent or reactive liquid. Specification 458,629 is referred to.
