Abstract
473,824. R÷ntgen - ray apparatus. SIEMENS-REINIGER-WERKE AKT.-GES. March 30, 1937, No. 9049. Convention date, Aug. 13, 1936. [Class 98 (i)] The apparatus consists of a tiltable screening stand or couch for the patient mounted on a pedestal at one side only, the pedestal being movable lengthwise of the couch, and a stand for the R÷ntgen-ray tube and, if desired, auxiliary means such as a luminescent screen, a cassette, or other apparatus, which stand is movable lengthwise of the couch on the opposite side to the pedestal. In the form shown, the couch a is carried by a pedestal c movable on rollers b and the tube e and luminescent screen f are carried by a stand d movable on rollers g. The couch and tube are pivotally mounted for use in a vertical plane.
