Abstract
471,936. Vehicle wheels. O'RIORDAN, M. J. March 18, 1936, No. 8114. [Class 144 (i)] To enable the front spoke-covering disc of a vehicle wheel to be removed without disturbing the rear disc, the rear disc 1, seated at 1c in a recess 2c of the rim, is independently secured by bolts or screws 5 to a ring 3, fitted against the front spokes. The front spokecovering disc 4 is then secured to the ring 3 by screws 6, this disc being similarly centred by its seating at 4c in the wheel rim. The tyre valve, 7 is connected by a tube 7a to a union secured in a hole 4f in the front disc.
