471,716. Hydraulic brakes. TEVES MASCHINEN-UND ARMATUREN FABRIK GES., A. Jan. 8, 1937, No. 640. Convention date, Feb. 1, 1936. [Class 103 (i)] Hydraulic transmission for vehicle brakes comprises an adjustable pressure limiting valve within easy reach of the driver, in the connection to the front wheel brakes so that this connection is closed when the pressure attains a certain value. The master cylinder is cormected at 27 and the front wheel brake cylinder at 28. When the pressure acting on a piston 16 attains a certain value, the spring 18 is compressed and a valve 25 closes the connection between the ports 27, 28. The spring 18 is adjustable by means of a screw cap 21.
