Abstract

A semi-plastic asphalt grout consists of a mixture containing about 75 per cent of mineral filler the remainder being blown bitumen, which may also contain a relatively small proportion, e.g. not exceeding 15 per cent, of other bitumen. The grout may be applied hot to a road and after squeegeeing a coat of chippings may be rolled into the surface. Specifications 18302/98, 11687/99, and 167,997, [all in Class 22], are referred to.
