Abstract
471,022. Rolling. DEMAG AKT.-GES. Dec. 3, 1936, No. 33207. Convention date, Sept. 12. [Class 83 (iv)] All the rolls of a mill train for rolling band iron, except the finishing rolls, e.g. the last one or two stands are ground uniformly concave to give convex passes so that these rolls are interchangeable. If backing rollers are provided these are also interchangeable. The last two stands of rolls are cylindrical. The convexity of the passes guide the bands accurately.
