Abstract

470,444. Artificial teeth. VETTER, E. Oct. 21, 1936, No. 28629. [Class 81 (ii)] Artificial tooth crowns made of ceramic and other materials are formed with comparatively thin walls having internal strengthening ribs extending from the base to the distal end of the interior of the tooth. Transverse notches may be provided in the ribs to assist the attachment of the crown by means of adhesive to a stamp, pin or other support. Figs. 1 and 2 show a crown for a front tooth provided with two ribs b, Fig. 20, a crown having a number of ribs and Fig. 23 a hollow facetted tooth.
