Abstract

Cement clinker is ground in the presence of a water soluble hydroxy-alkyl amine, or a salt or derivative thereof, e.g. triethanolamine, diethanolamine, or tri-isopropanol amine, or a salt thereof. The amount added may be one part to 2000-14000 of cement. The addition may be made in the form of an aqueous solution.ALSO:Cement clinker is ground in the presence of a water soluble hydroxy-alkyl amine, or a salt or derivative thereof, e.g. triethanolamine diethanolamine or tri-isopropanol amine or a salt thereof. The amount added may be one part of 2000-14,000 of cement. The addition may be made in the form of an aqueous solution. Specification 466,229 is referred to in the Provisional Specification.
