469,861. Ironing-boards. SHAPLAND, W. J. H., and TRUMAN, W. T. Aug. 28, 1936, No. 23630. [Class 138 (ii)] A sleeve board 8 is supported in the operative position spaced above an ironing-board 1 either by being secured to a support 7, Fig. 2, which can swing about the bolt 6 by which the ironing- board is clamped to a table 2, or by being hinged to the support 7, Fig. 3, which is hinged to the rear end of the ironing-board. When not in use, the sleeve board can be swung to lie alongside the ironing-board, Fig. 2, or can be swung back on its hinge, Fig. 3. A pivotally or slidably mounted iron rest 10 is provided and the ironing-board is provided with legs 3 which space it from the table.
