Abstract

466,337. Endless - track vehicles. BREWER, G. (Krupp Akt.-Ges., F.) Dec. 24, 1936, No. 35367. [Class 79 (i)] In an endless-track vehicle the track-engaging rollers 4 are mounted in pairs on rocking levers 5, each lever being cranked twice and having a track roller mounted on its outer end while its inner end 8 is inside the vehicle frame and adjacent the inner end of the other lever of a pair, the said inner ends carrying abutments 10 for a common spring 12 interposed between them to control the rollers. The inner ends of the levers are mounted in bearings 9 fixed to the vehicle frame 1, the spring abutments 10 passing through openings in the bearings. Bars 13 connect the bearings on opposite sides of the vehicle.
