Abstract

464,806. Nursery chairs. WALES, Ltd., and ADIE, B. Oct. 28, 1935, No. 29653. [Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iii)] A nursery or high-chair or a combination high-chair and baby-carriage is provided with a tray or table 5 having on the underside bars, ribs or projections such as lugs 7, Fig. 4, which engage the arms 6 of the chair, and spring- pressed catches 8 which engage racks on the arms to locate the tray in adjusted position. The racks are formed by securing a metal plate 6c having holes 6a over channels 6b in the arms. The lugs 7 engage the inner sides of the arms 6, and the catch 8 is so formed that the tray may be secured to the arms by downward pressure thereon. The tray 5 is preferably of moulded material with rounded ends and rim. The chair may be of the convertible kind described in Specification 464,805 and may be provided with an adjustable foot board such as that described in Specification 464,820.
