464,235. Variable condensers. BIRD, S. S. May 20, 1936, No. 14300. [Class 37] Means for locking a screw 3, adjusting the capacity of a trimmer condenser by bearing on a spring plate 8, comprises a plate 1 fitting over the end of the screw and caused to bear on the threads of the screw by the tension of the plate 8. In the example shown the plate 1 is hooked on to the depending part of the plate 8 as by projections 7. It may be soldered to or integral with the plate 8.
