Abstract

463,841. Siphon bottles. MAYO SYPHONS, Ltd., and NICHOLLS, J. E. May 23, 1936, No. 14635. [Class 14 (i)] A siphon top of the kind formed in two halves of stamped metal, or formed as a whole by pressing, is provided with a liner 5, preferably of the same metal as the top and recessed at 6 to take within itself the fulcrum of an operating lever 4 and is attached by screwing to the siphon top. A slot 7 is also provided to take the lever 4. The lever also serves as a guide to the head 8 of the valve spindle 9 which pivots at 10 on the lever 4. A valve 15 is seated on a metal insert 14 fitting against the body of the siphon top and against another lever 12. Specifications 291,831, [Class 14 (i)], and 424,579 are referred to.
