Abstract

460,616. Bee - keepers' appliances. PANEI, A. March 31, 1936, No. 9487. [Class 5(ii)] A frame for honey-comb sections comprises a main part a, Figs. 1 and 2, provided with apertures c and one or more laths e carrying depending members fitting the part a and adapted to secure cylindrical sections b, Fig. 4. The movable parts are adapted to be locked by cranked wires f to the main part a. The sections b are formed of thin wooden shavings joined at the ends by a metal strip i and provided at the centre with a wax sheet k. The frame may be provided with a screen for excluding queens, while holes g allow bees to pass from one side of the frame to the other.
