459,843. Pipe supports. NAKAMURA, U., 559, Makiochi, Minoh-mura, Osaka, Japan. Sept. 16, 1936, No. 25219. [Class 99 (ii)] A steam pipe line 1 is supported above a base or bracket 5 by an inverted-U or J frame 6 which is pivoted by a shaft 8 in bearings 7 on the base and is provided at its upper end with a freely-mounted suspension rod 4 terminating in a band 2 adapted to be clamped around the pipe line. The pipe may be heat insulated by lagging 12 which is preferably protected by a sheet metal cover 13 provided with a cap-covered aperture 14 for passage of the rod 4.
