458,500. Deodorizing. JAMES, R., 46, Gledstanes Road, West Kensington, and CLARKE, G., 18, Rowfant Road, Balham, both in London. Oct. 17, 1935, No. 30147/34. [Class 81 (i)] [See also Group I] A deodorizer &c. for use in refuse receptacles comprises a closed container a adapted, as by the provision of apertures a<1>, for the circulation of air therethrough, and holding a solid deodorant &c. e, and a bolt c passing through the container and having securing-means for mounting the container upon the lid or wall of the receptacle. The container may be constituted by a shallow cylinder with a frictionally engaged lid b or by a correspondingly-shaped enclosure of wire-netting and the deodorant &c. may be in the form of an annular block, the bolt, which may have an end shaped to penetrate the lid and is secured by a nut or cotter, passing through the central aperture of the annulus.
