Abstract
457,876. Driving-gear. TUTZSCHKE, R., 6, Paulinenstrasse, and JANISCH, A., 43, Delitzscherstrasse, both in Leipsic, Germany. April 2, 1935, No. 10227. [Class 7 (ii)] In a two-strokecycle engine in which the cylinder axes are tangential to the shaft 2, the piston rods are guided in the casing 1 and work over one or more cams 3 having one or more steep, approximately rectilinear portions 4 acted on during the working stroke, and less steep portions of spiral shape for engagement during the compression stroke. A fan driven from the shaft 2 extracts the gases from the exhaust pipes and delivers them to the atmosphere.
