456,971. Heating liquids by electricity. MOCK, H. O., CALDWELL, P. G., and CALDWELL HEATER & BATTERY CHARGER PATENT, Ltd., Aldwych House, Aldwych, London. April 17, 1935, No. 11801. [Class 39 (iii)] A liquid circulating system, which may be the cooling system of a motor vehicle engine, contains a flow heater 1 in which the liquid flows in oppositely directed streams over the heating unit 4 due to the provision of a single inlet 8 at the centre of one side and outlets 10, 11 at the ends of the opposite side. Alternatively two inlets 14, 15 and a single outlet 15 are provided. The heating unit is a tapped coil arranged in a metal casing screwed into the heater. Specifications 206,903, [Class 39 (iii)], and 456,972 are referred to.
