455,996. Vehicle wheels. GOODWIN, H., and ADAMS, G. H., Chapel Lawn, Bucknell, Shropshire. May 3, 1935, No. 13165. [Class 144 (i)] A detachable cleat, adapted to be fitted to the cross-strake 4 of a tractor wheel, is formed with a projecting lug 7, a bifurcated portion 9 for rigidly engaging the strake 4, and a flange 6 by which the cleat is bolted to the wheelrim 1. In the construction shown, the cleat is formed from a length of mild steel with a weld at 8 to produce the solid lug 7.
