Abstract

454,977. Fusible cut-outs. HENLEY'S TELEGRAPH WORKS CO., Ltd., W. T., 11, Holborn Viaduct, London, and BREEZE, H. W., 132, Wrotham Road, Gravesend. May 4, 1935, No. 13324. [Class 38 (i)] In a fusible cut-out comprising a fuse carrier and a base adapted to receive the carrier, the base 1 is provided with members 4 which lie close to and locate the contact members 3 in recesses 2 in the base. The members 4 are provided with portions 5 which engage recesses 6. A frame adapted to receive the carrier is secured to the base by a central screw. Openings 9 are provided in the side walls of the base and communicate with the recesses 2 through passages formed between the base and the frame to permit ventilation of the contacts. The Provisional Specification states that each contact member or the base may be provided with pins which engage holes in the other member.
