Abstract
454,466. Cigar &c. extinguishers. PFLEGER, L., 12, Schwarzwaldstrasse, Strasbourg, France. Sept. 25, 1935, No. 26523. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, March 30, 1936.] [Class 130] A cigar or cigarette extinguisher comprises a pair of members 3 pivoted at 6 and having co-operating edge faces or flanges 4; the members normally form a cup-like holder into which cigars or cigarettes to be extinguished can be inserted, and can be opened apart by gripping extensions 9. As shown, the members 3 are pivoted upon a forked bracket 2 attached to an ash-tray 1, the arms 5 of the bracket being provided with outward depressions 6 engaged by projections 8 on the members 3. The co-operating edges of the members 3 may be provided with grooves or the like to form a joint between them.
