454,340. Milling and boring cutters. HERBERT, Ltd., A., LLOYD, A. H., and BOOTH, H., Canal Road, Edgwick, Coventry. Nov. 20, 1935, No. 32136. [Class 83 (iii)] A rotary cutter for milling, boring, &c. comprises a body 11 having parallel sided grooves 12 for receiving cutter blades 13, which are serrated on their inner faces to engage corresponding serrations or plates 14 secured in the grooves by screws 15. The blades are tipped at 16 with tungsten carbide or other high-speed alloy and are clamped in pairs by clamping bars 17 fitting recesses 18 formed in the body and secured by central screws 20.
