[Class 66] Kettles, pans, urns, &c., particularly for use on an electric hot plate are formed with a bottom 3 pressed inwards or upwards so as to form a recess to receive a plate 5 of copper or other good conductor of heat and an outer base 6 of steel, iron, or other metal which will not buckle, extending below the lower edge 4 of the recess which is pressed to hold the plates. The plates 5, 6 are formed with holes or with grooves on their contacting surfaces to allow escape of heated air, vapour, &c.
