Abstract

Sanitary towels comprising a body of cotton wool, cellulose, or like absorbent material, the outer surface of which is metallized, are provided with a thin or wide-meshed fabric such as gauze or muslin on the metallized surface to prevent the latter being rubbed off when the article is worn.
