451,063. Golf clubs. SPALDING & BROS. (BRITISH), Ltd., A. G., Putney Wharf, Deodar Road, Putney, London.- (East J. V. ; Long meadow, Massachusetts, U.S.A.) June 7, 1935, No. 16587. [Class 132 (ii)] A golf-club grip at the handle portion has a flattened piece extending longitudinally disposed 90‹ angularly from the club head, the upper limit of the flat side being spaced from the end of the grip. The grip is formed by a ridge 13 along the rearward side of the grip, the flattened surface 15 on the lateral side and recesses 18, 19 to accommodate the heel of the hand and the little finger respectively. The grip is made up of an internal moldable material say finely divided rubber and cork, and an external wrapping 12.
