Abstract
450,427. Teapots. EVERTON, Ltd., E. T., and PADMORE, A. T., Rea Street South, Birmingham. March 28, 1935, No. 9635. [Class 129] A pot for tea or coffee or the like combines the advantages of earthenware and metal pots by being made of an earthenware liner with a permanently attached metal cover. The liner a has a flange a<1> and an outlet a3. The metal cover comprises two parts b, bl and a spout and handle. The liner is placed in the part b and the part b<1> then placed over the flange a<1> securing the liner in position by the flange b<6> which may have a packing ring c. The metal parts b, b<1> are secured at b<5> by spinning, brazing, &c. The metal spout b<2> is fitted over the outlet a3 and suitably secured. The handle b<3> of insulating material, is secured to lugs b4 on the metal casing. A base d of insulating material is secured to the base of the metal part b by rivets e.
