Abstract

450,102. Postcards. BENSON, L., 5, Nutter Lane, Wanstead, Essex, and FREUDENTHAL, P. H., 14, Hallam Street, London. Jan. 14, 1935, No. 1164. [Class 146 (ii)] A continuous band of postcards b2, each of the type provided with a coextensive address portion a<2> adapted to be folded about a line e<2> and secured to the back or address side of the card, has a marginal strip c separable along a line h of perforations, and one or more copy sheet strips d secured by adhesive to the marginal strip c, each postcard having on the back thereof either a stripe of ordinary adhesive, or two stripes of self-adhesive, for the securing of the address portion a<2> to the back of the card. In a modification, the back or address side of each card has a pocket formed thereon by means of a strip of material, preferably the same as that of the card, secured by adhesive. The cards are separable from the band along lines g of perforations. A strip k, which can be separated along a line f of perforations, is provided on the bottom card to enable that card to be typed at the bottom. The copy strip d may be perforated at g<1> coincident with the lines g. Specification 19288/05, [Class 146], is referred to.
