449,297. Making rubber bathing caps &c. INTERNATIONAL LATEX PROCESSES, Ltd., 10, Lefebvre Street, St. Peter Port, Guernsey. Jan. 7, 1936, No. 539. Convention date, Jan. 19, 1935. [Class 87 (ii)] Hollow rubber articles having a spherical portion, such as bathing caps, are made from a rubber-contain. ing fluid such as latex by deposition by spraying or dipping on a scoop - shaped form. The form 10 may have indentations 17 on its scooped portion 11 and is provided with a ridged portion 15 for determining the contour of the cap. After a sufficient thickness of material has been deposited, such as by repeated dipping and coagulation the article is withdrawn from the form inside out, and is then placed on a form corresponding to the shape of the finished article, where it is vulcanized together with any attached trimmings.
