[Class 26] In urinals comprising one or more compartments defined by walls and having a common exposed drain, vitiated air is drawn off by a ventilating duct or ducts c associated with one or more of the walls a of the compartments, the inlet of each duct being disposed near the drain. When the urinal walls are constructed of hollow members, the hollows may be utilized as the ducts. The duct may communicate with a shaft provided with a fan.
