[Class 123 (ii)] To provide sufficient space to enable a man to pass between the flues 10 and the smoketubes 13 of a return-tube boiler, a portion 21 of each flue is reduced in diameter, the ends of the reduced portion being tapered outwardly to the full diameter of the flue.
