445,885. Photographic collapsable cameras. I. G. FARBENINDUSTRIE AKT. - GES., Frankfort-on-Main, Germany. Oct. 19, 1934, No. 29969. Convention date, Oct. 28, 1933. [Class 98 (i)] Provision is made for locking the shutter-releasing lever when the camera is collapsed. As shown, the camera body 1 and lens panel 4 are connected by toggle levers 2, 3, and when the camera is collapsed a lug 6 on one of the levers 2, or on the camera body, rests beneath the shutter trigger 5 and prevents its actuation. If a focal plane shutter is used, a locking projection, mounted in the camera body and normally held inoperative by a spring, is moved to lock the shutterreleasing member when the camera is collapsed.
