[Class 46] The cells of a rotary drum suction filter are provided at each end with outlet slots f, f<1> which are offset relatively to each other and from which the filtrate flows directly in every position of the drum into distribution rings d, d<1> situated at both ends of the drum. At the point where the filter cake is removed by a scraper the slots f, f pass compartments h in the rings d, d<1> through which compressed air is supplied for blowing back the filter cake.
