442,695. Cathode-ray tubes. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., Magnet House, Kingsway, London, and JESTY, L. C., c/o General Electric Co., Ltd., Wembley, Middlesex. Feb. 1, 1935, No. 3322. [Classes 39 (i) and 40 (iii)] A mash for the curved screen of a cathode-ray tube has a plane, weakly reflecting, front surface 1, which is pierced by a regular opening 2 with perpendicular or inclined, highly reflecting edges 4, and the back surface fits the screen where the edges meet it. The opening is a rectangle with rounded corners, and the edges are coloured.
