Abstract
442,625. Bottles; stoppers. BOEHM, E., Ernstthal, Thuringia, Germany. Feb. 8, 1935, Nos. 4108, 4109, and 4110. Convention dates, Aug. 7, 1934, Aug. 31, 1934, and Oct. 10, 1934. [Classes 125 (i) and 125 (iii)] A drop bottle is formed with a capillary tube c, Fig. 1, projecting from the neck itself, or from a stopper screwed to the neck, with an adjacent air hole d. In the form shown, the threaded neck b is arranged obliquely for use and may be closed by a cap e, shown dotted. In a modification, the capillary tube c is grooved, and the air hole d is made adjacent the tube. In another modification, the neck b is not threaded but the tube c carries a threaded cap which closes the air hole when tightened up. In another modification, Fig. 5, the capillary c and air hole d are carried in a screwed stopper q. In other modifications, capillary and air holes are formed in a funnel t, Fig. 6, which may form part of the bottle or part of a stopper.
