[Class 140] [See also Group IX] A wool consisting of individual fibres of a polymerized aryl-olefine such as polystyrol or similar substance such as a polyvinyl halide, is spun into a yarn or thread in accordance with known carding, spinning, and twisting methods. The yarn or thread may be mixed with other threads such as textile threads, asbestos threads, and wool, and may be formed into bands, ribbons, tubes, and articles by weaving, knitting, plaiting, and the like. The products may be used in the manufacture of waterproof garments wherein a fabric made from the yarns or threads is used as the support for the rubber lining.
