441,354. Disc-closures. EVERSHED, C., 46, Fairfield Road, Bow, London. March 4, 1935, No. 6744. [Class 125 (iii)] In a disc closure for bottles, jars and the like of the kind formed of cardboard, pulpboard or the like provided with an integral lifting-tab, a recess e is formed by removing part of the material of the disc adjacent the end of the tab b and a slit c is made beneath the tab to facilitate lifting. A strengthening staple d is also provided. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 180,336, 283,050, and 313,375, [all in Class 125 (iii)].
