Abstract

438,576. Switch covers. BAIN, R., 25, Beaudesert Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, and ALLDAY, N., The Nest, Streetly Lane, Four Oaks, Warwickshire. May 20, 1935, No. 14645. [Class 38 (v)] A cover plate for an electric wall switch comprises a main portion 7 of mouldable material such as synthetic resin in which a metal plate 13 is embedded. The metal plate may be bevelled at its edges 15 and may be cut away as at 14 to form stencils of any desired form to constitute lettering &c., the mouldable material 7 entering these cut - away portions. The plate is held in position by an insulating ring 11, 12 which is screwed on to the usual dolly housing.
