437,774. Photographic surveying. SOC. ANON. DES USINES GALLUS, 77, Boulevard de la Mission - Marchand, Courbevoie, Seine, France. Jan. 11, 1935, No. 1065. Convention date, Jan. 12, 1934. [Class 98 (i)] In photographic apparatus employing two or more cameras, particularly for use in aeroplanes, artificial details, for example crosses, are imprinted on the sensitized plates and arrangements are provided for regulating the positions of these details before the photographs are taken so that they may be made to coincide with the images of features common to the two or more views photographed by the several cameras or with parts common to the several plates for the purpose specified. As shown, a small cross 5 illuminated by the lamp 6 is reproduced on the sensitized plate 13 by the optical system comprising the lens 8, prisms 10 and 11, and the lens 9 whenever the shutter 7 is opened. Alternatively a small cross on the objective may be transmitted to any point of the plate by an adjustable lens and prism system.
