Abstract

436,613. Bedstead corner fittings. WATKINSON, H. E., 40, Abbott Street, Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. Aug. 20, 1934, No. 23948. [Class 52 (ii)] [See also Group XXV] A bedstead corner fitting comprises a bracket 7, Fig. 2, which is chambered to receive a nut 8 having one inclined side which bears against one side of the chamber, and a bolt 9 passed through the side rail 10 and into the nut 8. Fig. 4 shows a modification in which an angleiron side rail 10 is used. In the form shown in Fig. 6, the side rail 10 enters a box-like bracket 7, and the nut 8 bears against one side of an aperture in one wall of the bracket and against a pin 15 passing vertically through the rail 10.
