[Classes 52 (i), 52 (iii), 52 (v), and 128] A small table or shelf for use in motor cars consists, as shown, of a tray-like surface a with side bearers e and stepped shoulders b which engage with the lower edge c<1> of the cubby holes c in the dashboard d. It is suspended by detachable chains f. In modifications, the shoulders b are replaced by rubber buffers, the height of which may be adjusted; the bearers e are replaced by rubber-covered arms pivoted to the underside of the tray, on the rear edge of which are rubber buffers bearing against the dashboard.
